TERMS & CONDITIONS

By purchasing or participating in a membership through The OT Coach Academy (Paediatric Hub or Business Hub), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read this document carefully before joining.

1. Membership Access

The OT Coach Academy offers two membership options:

Paediatric Hub A clinical membership designed for Australian AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapists only. You must provide accurate and up-to-date AHPRA registration information when joining.

Business Hub A membership designed for health professionals who are business owners of allied health practices. You must provide accurate and up-to-date information when joining.

Access to either membership is granted upon successful payment and continues according to your chosen billing cycle unless cancelled or paused as outlined below.

2. Payment & Billing

Paediatric Hub — Monthly

  • Monthly payments grant you access for one month at a time.
  • Your first payment is charged upon joining, with subsequent charges on the same date each month.
  • A minimum 3-month commitment applies. By joining, you agree to be charged monthly for the first three months.
  • After this period, you may cancel anytime with 5 business days' notice via email to hello@theotcoach.au.
  • Upon cancellation, access continues until the end of your current paid billing period.
  • Failed payments may result in your membership being suspended or cancelled without notice.

Paediatric Hub — Annual

  • Annual payments grant you uninterrupted access for 12 months (365 days).
  • The full amount is charged at the time of purchase and is non-refundable.
  • Your membership will automatically renew on the same date each year unless cancelled.
  • To cancel renewal, email hello@theotcoach.au at least 5 business days before your next billing date.

Business Hub — Monthly

  • The Business Hub is available on a monthly basis only.
  • Monthly payments grant you access for one month at a time.
  • Your first payment is charged upon joining, with subsequent charges on the same date each month.
  • A minimum 3-month commitment applies. By joining, you agree to be charged monthly for the first three months.
  • After this period, you may cancel anytime with 5 business days' notice via email to hello@theotcoach.au.
  • Upon cancellation, access continues until the end of your current paid billing period.
  • Failed payments may result in your membership being suspended or cancelled without notice.

3. Pause & Cancellation Policy

Paediatric Hub

  • You may request to pause your membership once per calendar year for up to 3 consecutive months.
  • During a pause, access is suspended but your current membership rate will be retained.
  • To request a pause, email hello@theotcoach.au with at least 5 business days' notice.

Business Hub

  • The Business Hub does not offer a standard pause option.
  • In exceptional circumstances such as the closure of your business, you may request an early exit before your minimum 3-month commitment is completed. Such requests are assessed on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of The OT Coach Australia.
  • To request an early exit, email hello@theotcoach.au outlining your circumstances. We will respond within 5 business days.

4. Intellectual Property

All materials (including session recordings, templates, resources, and downloads) are the intellectual property of The OT Coach Australia. These are for your personal professional use only and may not be copied, shared, or used for commercial purposes without written consent. You must not share login details, screenshots, or session recordings with others.

4a. Use of Artificial Intelligence

Zoom AI Live sessions within the membership are delivered via Zoom. Zoom AI features are enabled and will automatically generate a transcript and/or summary of each session. By participating in live sessions, you acknowledge and consent to this. Zoom's use of AI is governed by Zoom's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, available at www.zoom.com.

AI-Assisted Content Some resources, templates and materials made available within the membership may have been developed with the assistance of AI tools. All AI-assisted content is reviewed, edited and approved by a qualified occupational therapist before being made available to members.

5. Confidentiality & Group Etiquette

You agree to keep all live session and community space discussions confidential. Respectful, professional communication is expected at all times. Breaches of confidentiality or professional conduct may result in immediate termination of membership without refund.

6. No Guarantees or Clinical Supervision

This membership supports professional development and peer connection. It does not replace formal clinical supervision, therapy, or business advice. Outcomes are not guaranteed. You are responsible for applying insights within your professional scope and regulatory guidelines.

7. Disclaimer

All information is shared in good faith for general educational purposes. It is not a substitute for specific professional advice (clinical, legal, financial, or otherwise). The OT Coach Australia is not liable for decisions made or actions taken based on membership participation.

8. Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless The OT Coach Australia, its directors, employees and contractors from and against any loss, damage, liability, claim or expense (including legal costs) arising out of or in connection with your use of the membership, your breach of these Terms, or any applicable laws. This indemnity survives termination of your membership.

9. Modifications and Pricing

These Terms may be updated or modified at any time. You will be notified of major changes  including pricing changes via email or inside the member portal, with reasonable notice before changes take effect.

10. Termination by Us

We reserve the right to terminate your membership at any time for breach of these Terms, including conduct breaches under Section 5. In such cases, no refund will be issued for any remaining period. Upon termination, your access to all materials, recordings and community spaces will be removed. 

11. Privacy

Your personal information is collected and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at www.theotcoach.au/privacy-policy. By joining, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in that policy. 

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of NSW and any courts entitled to hear appeals from those courts.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be void, invalid or unenforceable, that provision is severed from these Terms without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
