WEBINAR & LIVE TRAINING TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms apply to webinars and live online training programs booked directly through The OT Coach Australia, operated by Sensational Start Occupational Therapy Pty Ltd trading as The OT Coach Australia ABN 93 619 795 201 (we, our or us). Events are delivered via Zoom and bookings are managed via TryBooking or through our website www.theotcoach.au.
Please note: Some webinars and training programs featuring The OT Coach Australia are hosted and managed by Verve OT Learning. For those events, bookings, payments, recordings and cancellations are governed entirely by Verve OT Learning's own terms and conditions. These Terms do not apply to events booked through Verve OT Learning.
By booking to attend or attending any event booked directly through us, you agree to these Terms.
1. Bookings & Payments
Payment (where the event is not free) is required at the time of booking via TryBooking. You will receive a booking confirmation email upon registration. A Zoom link will be provided to registered attendees prior to the session or training.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
Single-session webinars Payment is non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, a recording will be sent to you after the session. Access to the recording is available for 12 months from the date of the live session, after which it will be removed from the platform.
Multi-day live training (e.g. Art of Paediatric Therapy)
- Cancellations made 30 or more days before the training start date are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made less than 30 days before the training start date are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to a future intake.
- Your registration may be transferred to another individual at any time prior to the training start date. To arrange a transfer, email hello@theotcoach.au with your name, booking details and the name and contact details of the person taking your place.
- Access to training recordings is available for 12 months from the date of the live training, after which recordings will be removed from the platform.
- To request a cancellation, email hello@theotcoach.au with your name and booking details.
3. Cancellation by Us
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or reschedule a session or training, registered attendees will be notified as soon as possible via email. In the case of cancellation by us, a full refund will be issued. We are not liable for any costs incurred by attendees in connection with the event.
4. Recording Consent
Sessions may be recorded for the purposes of providing replay access to registered attendees and for our own records. By registering, you consent to being recorded during any live interactive components such as Q&A. If you do not wish to appear on a recording, you may keep your camera and microphone off during the session.
5. Access & Use
All webinar and training content and recordings are for the registered individual only, except where a registration transfer has been approved under Section 2. Recordings may not be shared with, forwarded to, or viewed by any other person.
6. Privacy
Your personal information is collected and used to facilitate bookings, deliver the event, and notify you of future events and activities. It is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at www.theotcoach.au/privacy-policy.
Your details may be shared with third parties directly involved in delivering the event, including staff, contractors and platform providers (including TryBooking and Zoom), who are only authorised to use that information for the stated purpose. You may opt out of our communications at any time by emailing hello@theotcoach.au or using the unsubscribe link in any email.
7. Prohibited Conduct
When attending a session or training, you must not:
- Breach the privacy or legal rights of any individual
- Defame, harass, threaten, menace or offend any person
- Interfere with the session or other attendees
- Record, share or distribute session content without our written consent
- Use content in any way that competes with our business
- Transmit viruses or otherwise interfere with our platform or systems
- Send unsolicited messages to other attendees
8. Intellectual Property
All content delivered in our webinars and training programs is the intellectual property of The OT Coach Australia. You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell or share any content with any third party, or use it in any way that competes with our business.
9. Disclaimer
All content is intended to provide general professional education and does not constitute clinical, legal, financial or other professional advice. While we take reasonable care to ensure accuracy, we make no warranty as to the completeness or suitability of the content for your specific circumstances. You attend and act on content at your own risk.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The OT Coach Australia is not liable for any loss, damage or expense arising from your attendance at or use of our sessions or training programs, including any interruption, error or inaccessibility of the platform. We are not liable for any costs incurred by attendees in connection with an event.
11. Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless The OT Coach Australia, its directors, employees and contractors from any loss, liability, claim or expense arising from your attendance, your breach of these Terms, or any applicable laws. This indemnity survives termination of these Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of NSW and any courts entitled to hear appeals from those courts.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be void, invalid or unenforceable, that provision is severed without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
