Introducing The OT Coach Academy

Business Hub

A community of allied health business owners seeking connection, clarity and practical guidance as they lead their teams and shape their services

What is The OT Coach Academy?

The OT Coach Academy
is a supportive learning space for OTs and service leaders who want practical education, genuine connection and steady guidance.

The various hubs bring together a community of like-minded allied health professionals with shared goals of strengthening their practice and leading with confidence.

What is the Business Hub?

The Business Hub is a supportive home base for service owners navigating the everyday realities of leading a healthcare service.

While shaped by the needs of paediatric providers, it offers value for any allied health leader seeking grounded advice, shared wisdom and a sense of community.

Expect guidance that meets you where you’re at, resources that genuinely help and conversations that make running a service feel less isolating.

Where running an allied health service feels supported, not solitary

The Business Hub is not another set of templates or a library you’ll never use

It’s a place to think clearly, steady yourself and feel supported in the realities of running a business

Leading a team can be equal parts rewarding and overwhelming. Some weeks you feel on top of everything, and other weeks you’re carrying questions, decisions and responsibilities alone. The Business Hub gives you space to pause, reflect and make sense of what’s unfolding in your service

If you value the grounded, practical way Alyce supports business owners – but often find it hard to apply that guidance once you’re back in the day-to-day – this is the space that helps bridge that gap

This isn’t a replacement for coaching or supervision...

It’s a community

A place to land when things feel messy, uncertain or heavy. A space to hear what others are facing, gather ideas and lean into conversations that make leading a service feel more manageable.

Who is The OT Coach Academy: Business Hub for?

For allied health business owners...

The Business Hub is designed for service owners who employ at least one other therapist and are carrying the week-to-week realities of leading a team

For leaders holding responsibility...

If you’re the person others look to for decisions, clarity or direction, this space offers a steady place to land and think things through

For those seeking grounded guidance...

You’ll benefit from the Hub if you want practical, honest support that helps you navigate challenges, explore options and feel more confident in your leadership

For owners who want connection, not isolation

Running a service can feel lonely, even with a team around you. The Hub brings you into conversation with others who hold similar responsibilities and understand the weight of the role

So what are the logistics?

The OT Coach Academy: Business Hub runs as a live, guided space during the school term.

Each week you’ll join a 1-hour session where Alyce facilitates open conversation, gentle reflection and practical problem-solving based on what you and other service owners are facing.

When do we meet?

Thursdays @ 1:30 – 2:30 pm NSW time | School terms only

What do sessions look like?

There’s no rigid structure or content-heavy agenda.

Alyce guides the conversation with prompts, questions and relevant updates, creating space to talk through challenges, share ideas and hear how others are navigating similar situations. Recordings are available after every session so you never miss a week.

What else will I have access to?

Resources are shared only when they naturally support the discussion – things like a helpful checklist, a policy snippet or a planning tool. Nothing overwhelming, nothing excessive, only what’s genuinely useful.

What is my commitment?

Membership runs on a minimum 3-month basis to support real connection and consistency within the group. You can choose to pay weekly or monthly, and compassionate exemptions apply if your circumstances genuinely change.
