Strong clinical teams don’t just happen.
They develop over time through how therapists think, how they are supported and how the work is led across a team.
Some services do not yet have internal clinical leadership in place. Others have team leaders who need support to guide their team and maintain consistency in practice.
The OT Coach works alongside services through in house training, ongoing mentoring and integrated supervision.
This may involve working directly with the team, supporting team leaders, or providing ongoing clinical mentoring across the service.
The work moves across the team, with learning and insight feeding up and down to support consistency and development.
This support sits within your service and how your team already works, rather than being delivered as a generic external model.
IN HOUSE MENTORING
Ongoing Mentoring for Therapy Teams
In house mentoring provides structured, ongoing group support for therapists within your service.
Sessions are discussion based and responsive to what your team needs. Therapists bring their questions, challenges and experiences, and we work through these together.
This creates a space for real time mentoring, shared thinking and professional development grounded in everyday practice.
Mentoring may be offered in two ways depending on your service needs:
New Graduate Development
Supports therapists in the early stages of their professional role as they build confidence and understanding of practice.
Sessions provide space to:
- build confidence in their professional role
- develop clinical thinking and decision making
- navigate the realities of practice
- work through real cases and challenges
Paediatric Clinical Support
Supports therapists working in paediatric practice to strengthen their thinking and approach across the team.
Sessions provide space to:
- work through clinical reasoning in paediatric OT
- discuss complexity and family dynamics
- strengthen professional judgement
- develop more consistent approaches to therapy
Mentoring is not structured training. It is a space for ongoing support, discussion and development based on the work your team is doing day to day.
Investment
$440 per hour (group mentoring session)
Mentoring is offered on a limited basis depending on capacity and service fit.
