Live Workshops
Paediatric occupational therapy involves complex decision-making.
Therapists are constantly balancing developmental needs, assessment findings, family priorities, and real-world contexts when planning therapy.
The Art of Paediatric Therapy is designed to support occupational therapists to develop clearer clinical thinking and a more structured approach to paediatric practice.
This program focuses on the reasoning behind therapy decisions — helping therapists move beyond simply applying strategies and toward understanding the thinking that guides effective intervention.
The live workshop provides an in-depth learning experience where therapists explore the foundations of paediatric therapy thinking.
Across the program, Alyce shares practical frameworks, real examples from clinical practice, and structured ways of approaching therapy planning.
The workshop focuses on helping therapists:
-
strengthen clinical reasoning in paediatric practice
-
develop clearer therapy planning processes
-
understand the thinking behind assessment and intervention decisions
-
reflect on their current approach to therapy
-
build confidence when working with children and families
The live workshop is interactive and includes opportunities for discussion and reflection with other therapists working in paediatric settings.
Workshops are offered at selected times throughout the year.
